### About Us

# Africa is Green

WE PLANT. WE GROW. WE PROTECT.

Founded on the belief that Africa’s greatest resources are its people and natural ecosystems, Africa is Green (AIG) is a pan-African movement committed to regenerative agriculture, eco‑tourism, green innovation, and sustainable investment.

## Our Vision

A continent where green growth empowers communities, restores landscapes, and creates opportunity for all - driven by African leadership and global collaboration.

## Our Mission

To unite farmers, travelers, activists, entrepreneurs, and investors around continent‑wide climate action. Through our three pillars - Plant, Grow, Protect - we transform ideas into impact:

- We Plant: Sow trees, knowledge, and soil health across degraded lands.
- We Grow: Support regenerative food systems, youth-led enterprises, and circular economies.
- We Protect: Build eco-tourism, conservation initiatives, and community stewardship programs.

## Why We Exist

AIG addresses these challenges by creating green pathways that foster communities, unlock opportunities, and honor Africa’s ecological heritage.

- Climate Vulnerability: Africa faces intensifying climate risks, especially to food systems and communities.
- Agriculture at Risk: Soil degradation and outdated practices threaten food security.
- Youth Unemployment: A generation ready to transform, lacking access to green careers.
- Tourism Impact: A chance to reimagine travel that supports ecology and culture.
